Jessie T. Wolf
Well, for now, anyway. :)
I am so thrilled with him. ^__^ Now here is a dog that I will never have any trouble with. Nice and calm, quiet, big, lovable and huggable. He’s perfect! Well… except for the fact that I can’t feed him, or walk him, or train him. O__o At least he can stand around and look good.
I’ve decided to sell one of Zena’s old collars on Furbid:http://www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auction/item.pl?item=232335432
I’m keeping her old working collar, with the handle… but I have so many spiked collars now, in various sizes and designs, maybe someone else will want this one. Zena only wore it for a short time anyway, so it’s still practically new. Rotti helped to model it for me. :)
On a side note, it’s looking like I will be moving to London, England, near the end of September with Tim, since he got a new job offer there. Six months in British Columbia, and now off to England for an undetermined amount of time. So I will be spending the next couple of weeks packing up everything I own, and getting ready to stick it all in storage, (again) and bringing only the necessities with me. Which naturally includes art supplies.
And of course, my new Rotti. <3

Re: The Adventures of Dr. Whoof
Thank you, hon! I was actually thinking about you about a week ago, wondering if you were still around. :) Glad to hear from you. ^^
London? I'm guessing its not another gig with Battlestar Galactica.
Maybe instead of a dog, you should get yourself a pegasus to help you move. :P

You know, I really hate flying... O__O That is honestly going to be the hardest part of the move, for me. >__

"...hopefully we'll be able to hang out abit before I leave :)"
That's the plan! :) *huggles* You get a new LJ name?
and yeps, new LJ name. I had been meaning to change it for a while to stop unwanted snooping from more those I have to deal with on a more 'formal' basis. I wanted to change it to Just "Garr" but it was still taken, so this seemed like a good second choice :D
|Date:||September 1st, 2007 04:50 pm (UTC)|| |
"Royal" with Cheese. :-P
Ooooh, England! You'll have a wonderful adventure being there!
|Date:||September 1st, 2007 04:51 pm (UTC)|| |
At least the weather isn't much different than BC, anyway. :-P Rainy. ;)
Nice rotti^^. By the way if you have any questions about England I can try to help you out with them. I'm from there so I know of a few places, moreso London (Madam Tusards, etc). You'll like it there. Your Big Brother Djago and I will miss you. Hope you guys come back to the states sometime in the future soon :hugs:.

Awww... *hugs to you both* I'll still be around on LJ, anyway. :) We won't be staying there forever. It's either just until the job is finished (8 months, to two years, I think...) or whenever Tim gets funding to make Kaze. If he gets funding to make his movie, then we'll be moving right back to BC.
Oh cute. :)
I once made a rottie head commission for someone. I've never seen it debut, but I think it came out pretty well:
Have a great time in London! :)
"Beware the days of the year, little man
When the moon hath a face like a silver crown
Cleave if thou may'st to the home of thy clan
And hide from the Werewolves of London Town
Beware the coverts and courts, little maid
Where walks the man with the coat of brown
Though thou art abandoned, be not waylaid
By the hungry Werewolves of London Town
Beware the alleys and lanes, my son
Those shining eyes and their power of sewn
If thou art sighted, be not undone
By the mighty Werewolves of London Town
Beware the starlit nights, my child
And pretty lady in the sleek white gown
Though thou art forsaken, be not beguiled
By the charming Werewolves of London Town"

And that is a cute Rotti head. ^^ I really do like your fursuit style. :) Kind of Hanna Barbarra, Scooby-Doo like. :)
Also, if you want me to mail that badge out to you before I leave, you'd better send me your mailing addy soon! :-P firstname.lastname@example.org
Cute plushie. :)

We won't be there forever, hon... it's only until the job is done (which I think is about 8 months or so...) or until Tim is actually able to get funding to finish making Kaze. Then we are planning on moving back to BC (we have to move back to Canada anyway... Tim's almost done going through his Canadian Immigration process).
Battlestar is not giving Tim enough work, and this Video Game company in England has been trying to hire him for quite a while now, so he finally said yes, after turning them down once already. They will be giving him a job as animation supervisor, so he will be one of the head guys in charge and making a good amount of money for us. They may even give me a Jr. job doing compositing, texture map painting, or animation. Who knows.
I'm not really all that keen on moving again, but right now we have to go where we can make money, so that we can keep on paying the bills. I won't be gone forever, Lex... in fact, I should be at MFF this year,(it's the last year they'll be holding it at that hotel) and I will be visiting Toronto again, at the very least to visit my Mom, in the future. :-P
I do find it odd that so many furs from Toronto are moving to BC now, though. First Raptor, then me, and now Pat the Fox. Pat said that Blue wanted to move out here as well, at one point, but I don't know if she's still got plans to move to the U.S. or not.

I know... -__- I kinda wish that we would just stay put, in a lot of ways... but since Tim can't depend on anymore work from Battlestar, (they said they *might* have some work for him in October...) and we need to be making money so that we can keep on paying the bills, he needs to go where the money is. He got a job offer in England (and these guys have been nagging at him since before I moved out here, even) for a Video Game company, and they want to make him Animation Supervisor. He's thrilled about landing a job where he'll actually be one of the top guys in charge of running the place, where his opinion will be respected (they dicked him around so much at BSG, it was driving him crazy). So I kinda have to tag along. They said that they may even be able to find a Jr. position for me... maybe Jr. Compositing, or painting texture maps or something.
We won't be staying there forever, though. It'll either be us just working there until the job is done (I think it's like 8 months, or so... which will honestly go by quickly... I've already been here 6 months, and it doesn't really feel like it's been that long!) and then we're moving back to BC. Or, if Tim gets funding for Kaze, then we're moving right back to BC to work on his film. Either way, we should be back in BC within the next year.
And don't forget that when we DO finally get funding for Kaze, you still have a job here with us doing Compositing/Background painting/Lighting/Animation, if you'd like. Please DO let me know if you're still interested, because we can still set up practice times for Fusion. But because of our move, the test will probably be put on hold for now. I would continue practicing the Fusion courseware though, if I were you, just so that you're ready for the test when Tim does throw it at you. You don't REALLY need my help to just watch the rest of the videos on your own, and do the practice exercises.
For you guys, I'll keep at the Fusion stuff... maybe I'll know what I'm doing with it by the time you guys come back.
With all the moving (especially to Britan), I guess it's just as well you're dog-less right now eh? Lord knows you won't want to have to put a dog through all those months of quarantine if the move isn't perminant.

Well, we're supposed to be there, starting work on the 17th... but that's if they get our work Visas out to us on time and all. And who knows if that's going to happen. O__o But if we're there while you're still visiting, hell yeah I'd love to get together. :)
