Well, Crap... - Jessie T. Wolf
"The wishes of the many outweigh the wants of the few" . Ironic is that the wanters, the "minority" actually do stuff to further the ban. This comes back to the simple fact that people are disgusting control freaks who are afraid of stuff they should embrace, for no reason. When I see someone who's afraid of DOGS, I start to feel pity for that person :-\.

Agreed. A few people have been afraid of my dog, just because of how she looks. However, she's pretty much harmless. If you don't watch it you may get a few small welts from her claws as she jumps up to say hello, but she's never intentionally hurt anyone or anything that's set foot in our apartment. She plays with my cat Artemis all the time. She stands over him, pinning him down, then pretends to bite at him while he paws her head. Neither have ever gotten so much as a scratch from it, though. I remember when we first got her, she was so sad because the cats kept running away from her. Trouble has just never been fond of dogs, and Artemis had never seen one before. He clawed her nose once, drawing blood, and she just looked at him wondering why he wouldn't be friends with her. They get along just fine now that he's used to her, though.
She also sits and takes it as my friend's two year old hits her and pokes her in the eye. I always make him stop when I catch him doing it, but he's gotten a few hits and pokes in before I see what he's doing. Doesn't phase her one bit. So much for the big bad Pitbull, huh?
