Aww man.... I really wish I knew someone who could help you get your stuff back!! That really blows ass.... :(
I didn't know you'd already set a solid date for your Toronto visit! Are the dogs still coming with you or are you leaving them in B.C.? ...man, where does the time go? @___@

Yeah, I'll be getting there Saturday night of June 5th, and then leaving the following Saturday. I don't know my schedule yet, and I may need to take 2 days out of my visit to drive to Michigan to get my stuff, and possibly appear for a court hearing. I guess we'll see what happens. But we should totally see if we can hang out for a day or two while I'm in town. :)
I'm only bringing Penny with me. My Mom really wanted to see her. :-P I really wanted to bring Jango, but it was going to cost me like $700 for a return trip for him. X___X I have no idea how bringing a dog by plane has gotten so expensive, it's ridiculous. Maybe next time I visit, I'll be able to budget it out better. He's going for his CGN test on Monday too, so I'm all nervous and excited at the same time. :-P
We definitely have to spend some time together with the dogs 'n stuff. I just hope I have a friggin' day or two off in the time period that fits your schedule! :(
WOW... $700? What airline?! That's insane!
Well, good luck to Jango. I hope he passes with flying colors! :)

WestJet. Air Canada wanted more. -____- It's insane how expensive it's become to ship a dog out. A DOG!
Jango didn't pass his CGN test, but he only failed 4 of the 12 mini tests. It was SUPER busy... we were at a friggin dog show, and the test was held inside in the middle of all of the commotion, instead of outside where it usually is held (it had to be raining that day, of course). The judges told me that for his age though, he did a really good job, and that I had done a great job training and socializing him. But you have to pass all 12 of the mini tests to get the certificate.
He got distracted with the heeling exercise, and he was a bit too excited to see the "Friendly Stranger" who is supposed to come up and pet him/brush him with a grooming brush (they didn't tell me about that one... I wasn't prepared to have a total stranger brush him... he was wiggly, but not aggressive... just wouldn't hold still is all). He failed horribly at the test where you're supposed to leave your dog alone with a stranger and then go out of sight for 3 minutes. Ha... yeah, we need to practice more Down Stays, with me out of sight. Jango is a huge Mama's Boy... so he dragged the poor lady out to look for me. O_____o
I'll probably try him again in the next test, which is in July. :3
That's so fucked up, I mean... he wouldn't be in the cabin so why the hell did it get so pricey? It makes no sense.
Ah well... :/
