My original advice still stands: pretend he died in a fire with all your stuff. :3 I knew the guy was disconnected with reality the first time I heard him. I only now realize how thoroughly he evades the real world with his conjured fantasies.

I refuse! He has a good chunk of my personal history, and I absolutely refuse to let it go that easily! I know he doesn't want me on the property, but if I have to go there and get it all back myself, then I will. It's not like he can tell me to leave, when he has my stuff, and I helped him get that damn house to begin with. If I have to get a police escort, I will. If I have to pay off that debt, I will. But I refuse to let him keep my stuff hostage forever.
I thought about doing some art and putting it up for auction, actually. I'll have to start focusing on that once we're moved and unpacked into the new place.
