Remember that muscle weighs more than fat.
If your going to have a workout routine, be sure to include flexibility training as well. Working out to loose fat and gain muscle tone is all well an good, but to be genuinely "fit" you should be able to run, jump, dive, roll, etc... that is where flexibility training comes in.
Just make sure you can keep a good day planner for all the things you want to do, and leave time between each thing so that you don't have to worry about rushing from one thing to another.
