Downtown Outing
Halloween is quickly approaching! Today Blue and I hooked up with my friend Solon, and went downtown to this big party supplies store called It's My Party. Every year they have a HUGE Halloween display, and it's kinda become tradition to go take a look around the shop every year. This year they had a neat Vampire themed display in their window, including a giant hanging vampire bat dude. It was cool! I so want one of those! If I ever become rich enough, I want to buy a nice big monster prop just for the helluvit. Actually, if my room didn't already have my Wolf theme, I'd have it decorated to look like Halloween all year around.

<:} Anyway, I ended up buying a pair of neat looking monster gloves. I wanted to buy a new Werewolf mask, but the only one they had in the store had already been sold. :/

After looking through the store, we went to this cool Japanese restaurant for lunch, which was appropriate since I recently had a dream about sushi. :-P It was a really nice little place, everything was very decently priced, and the food was good! And came in good sized portions. *grins* I was full only halfway through my meal, but it was too good to put down, so by the time we left I was a little sleepy from eating so much. >.< It also took us a while to pay the people there, because they brought me and Solon our bill, but they forgot Blue's. When we went to the cash to try to get her bill, they got a bit confused when we were trying to pay them. They even tried to give us back the tips we left for them, thinking that we overpaid. But we got it all sorted out eventually. So Blue could have got away with not paying for lunch, but she's too honest for that. ;)

Then we went to this store that Solon used to go to a lot when we were back in Jr. High, called Gifts From The Earth. It's this cute little Wiccan shop, and they sell lots of stones and books on healing, spells, crystals, etc. They also have little Totem animal stones, and Tarot cards, candles, incense and herbs and stuff. It's a very pretty store, and I got a new crystal quartz necklace. Blue got some cool spiny looking magnetic stone, just cos she thought it looked neat. :)

Then the three of us got back on the subway. We parted ways with Solon once we hit Victoria Park station, and then Blue and I went home. Was a pretty nice day, but left the two of us pretty sleepy. We've both been really tired for the past few weeks, and supposedly we have plans to stay up and draw tonight. :-P I think I need a nap first. >.<
